Functional Movement Assessment

The Functional Movement Assessment is a comprehensive, two-hour session designed to evaluate how your body moves and teach you how to move better.

Through a detailed analysis of your movement patterns, posture, and muscle function, we identify inefficiencies that may contribute to pain, limit performance, or increase your risk of injury.

You’ll be coached through corrective exercises that are explicitly tailored to your needs, helping you improve your strength, stability, and motor control. Each personalized exercise plan is practical, accessible, and designed to help you continue your progress independently with confidence, while deepening your understanding of how your body works and setting the foundation for better performance, recovery, and long-term health.

This assessment is recommended for the general population or early-stage athletes. Clients who want to move and feel better. Individuals returning to movement or recovering from injury. Clients with stiffness, pain, or unexplained fatigue during exercise. Those who want to build a strong, functional base before pursuing higher-level training readiness and recovery.

This assessment does not address lower back pathologies. Please refer to the McGill Method Assessment for a comprehensive evaluation of your lower back.
